Coaching:

Occupational therapy (OT) teaches you how to adapt your movements, in response to various physical limitations that affect your every day life, work, leisure, studies, or household chores. These limitations can be caused by pain, injury, illness, or a disability.

Our team works with people of all ages, from premature babies to young children, adults in midlife, and seniors. In short, they evaluate how you do any kind of daily activity or task and help you adjust.

They work with you to come up with a therapy plan and set goals designed for your needs, disability, or limits. They adapt your movements, improve your motor skills or hand-eye coordination, and improve the way you do it, to make it easier or less painful.

  • Rebound therapy, also known as trampoline therapy, is a form of physiotherapy that uses trampolines to provide therapeutic exercises for people with various physical and mental conditions. It is often used to improve motor skills, balance, coordination, and sensory integration. Rebound therapy can be beneficial for individuals with disabilities, developmental delays, or injuries.

This combined approach allows for a more comprehensive and holistic treatment plan, addressing both the specific physical limitations and the underlying musculoskeletal issues.

It's important to note that the effectiveness of any therapy, whether manual, physical, or a combination of both, greatly depends on the skills and expertise of the healthcare professionals providing the treatment, as well as the active participation and commitment of the patients in their rehabilitation process.

  • The NLP principles, or principles of Neuro-linguistic programming, is a way of changing someone’s thoughts and behaviors to help achieve desired outcomes for them. It is notably used in the treatment of phobias and anxiety disorders, as well as to improve workplace performance or personal happiness.

NLP uses perceptual, behavioral, and communication techniques to make it easier for people to change their thoughts and actions. Rather than focussing on negative behaviours that you need to change, it focusses on your good habits and how to apply them in your life, to move forward towards your goal.

By pulling in the right people with the right skillsets, the Innergetic Wellness Center provides help to support behavioural changes, keep you accountable and increase the likeliness of achieving these goals.

  • The purpose of low vision therapy is to develop strategies to adapt to diminished sight, to maintain independence and a sense of self-worth. This rebuilding and reinforcement of the visual foundation is accomplished through identification of goals, introduction to assistive devices, and training.

People with severe vision loss benefit from mobility training and occupational therapy to adapt their physical care to their new vision. The objective is to maintain physical and psychological health, while reducing risks of accidents.
