Everyone! No matter your level of fitness, HoB has a workout for you. Also, it is easy to adapt the movements to suit your level of fitness, we will show you how!
It may be tough at first! It is best to attend the beginner class to start slow. Rebounding takes rhythm, coordination, balance and speed. If these don’t sound like you, don’t worry! These skills will build over time. For your first class, we will welcome you, and provide a brief safety instruction on how to properly use the trampoline. Then, we will begin with a warm-up, and transition to the workout. This will last for 45 minutes with a 15 minute stretch and cool down.
Other than yourself and your wonderful smile, the great thing about rebounding is that all you need is some loosely fitting workout clothes, a towel and a water bottle (There are no water fountains at the studio). We do not recommend that you rebound with running shoes. You may wear socks that have a grip at the bottom ( if you wear socks with no grip, you may slip). However, we recommend that you rebound barefoot for the best grip and to use all of the muscles in your feet.
The studio is located on the second floor. There are no locker rooms, but there are bathrooms with showers. There are also no water fountains so be sure to bring a water bottle.
The Bellicon trampoline can support up to 440lbs. The bungees come in different strength levels. Our studio offers a variety of strength levels to accommodate different weights. We recommend you choose the strength level that corresponds to your weight, this way you can ensure that you will receive the best bounce.
Silver: >80 lbs SOFT
Blue: 80-150 lbs MEDIUM
Yellow: 110-200 lbs STRONG
Red: 180-320 lbs X-STRONG
Green: 320-440 lbs ULTRA
At the end of every class, the trampolines are wiped down with disinfectant wipes.
All of our rebounders come with screw-in support bars. If you are worried about your balance, we recommend you use a trampoline with a support bar. Once you get used to the bounce, you may decide that you no longer need the bar.
If I have any medical issues, should I consult my doctor before taking my first House of Bounce class?
