Some of the Benefits of BôGA and the Trampoline
Balance and the Brain
One of the main benefits of BôGA is that the malleable
surface of the trampoline provides a new dynamic for
yogis in terms of stability and balance. The part of
your brain responsible for motor control (cerebellum)
becomes more effective the more it is challenged.
Practicing BôGA on the trampoline allows you to
develop your motor control and balance.
Improvements in posture and stability will quickly follow!
BôGA combines two types of fitness (bounce & yoga) which share a
focus on stress relief and
emotional wellness. When bouncing, the
weightless state of the top of your jump combined
with twice the
gravitational pull when you land means that every cell, muscle and
your body releases tension and relaxes. Even if you’re on the
trampoline for only a few
minutes, the stress of the day gives way to
Easy on Joints
The malleable surface of the trampoline and the elasticity of the
bungees allows for a soft yoga practice. Some traditional yoga
poses such as navasana/boat pose where a lot of pressure is on
the tailbone; or lunges which can be hard on the knees, may be

body so you can enjoy deepening your pose with more ease and
Fun & Laughter
Laughter REALLY is the best medicine. Did you know there is
thing called Laughter Yoga? It promotes “fake laughing” to help
people live in the present moment. BôGA offers the genuine
ability to laugh and access your inner child. When on the
trampoline, you have a natural tendency to smile, laugh
and live in the present moment. All of this combined releases
endorphins, which relieves stress, promotes cognitive skills
and battles depression.
